Ever maneuver through a busy airport with a child, car seat, luggage, and tickets? Then you'll appreciate the genius of this remarkable invention! Travelmate turns your car seat into an airport stroller that you can push with one hand. Not only can your child fly secure in his car seat (as recommended by the FAA), you'll have your own car seat with you once you arrive. Weighs just five lbs; stores in the airplane's overhead bin. Fits down standard airplane aisles (if your car seat fits, Travelmate will, too.) Attaches/detaches easily; compatible with most car seats-see list below.

GoGo Kidz Travelmate
Strengths: Very Lightweight, small, easily portable
Weakness: a little expensive for what you get, and the lightweight plastic may wear & tear more easily
I believe this product will replace the need for traveling with a separate stroller, the question will be how long will it hold up to recurring travel. My hopes are high for a $90 product.

My husband and I plan on travelling with our two girls a lot. The FAA recommends the use of car seats on airplanes for children under 40 pounds. Add to that the need for a car seat when we get to our final destination and it is a no brainer that the car seat goes with us. I was dreading hauling the kids, our carry-on luggage, and the car seats through the airport. With the travelmate, the car seat becomes the stroller. In fact it is EASIER to manuever than a stroller. We have two Britax car seats that we love and the girlsf eel really comfortable in. Once they were in the car seats (and we got through security), they stayed in their seats. True, it is difficult to fasten the car seat to the airline seat, but that has nothing to do with the Travelmate. We kept the wheels on while on the plane. They are narrower than the car seat, so wherever my the car seat fit, so did the wheels. It was a relatively smooth transition to the rental car as well. I kept them in their seats, removed the travelmate, then lifted them---seat and all---into the car. It takes a little more to get them on, but not much. I can't imagine the plastic will hold up to too much abuse, so don't expect it to. The GoGo Kids Travelmate meant I didn't need to corrale a toddler while I juggled bags and an infant. I also knew that the toddler wouldn't walk away the instant I turned my attention to the gate attendent. They were comfortable, I was relaxed, and we enjoyed our vacation.
