Excellent play area!
Strengths: Easy to put together and dismantle. Soft plastic will not hurt baby. Activity center keeps baby busy and batteries are included! Entrance lock is secure.
Weakness: You need two playsets (or one playset plus a few more extensions). Play area is too small with only one set. There is a lip under the gate where a walking baby may trip if it is not locked.
I researched this item before buying. I originally was going to buy a portable playpen, but it seemed too small. Other large playpens looked like they were to cage animals, not babies. The colorful soft plastic appeared to be safe for my crawling baby. The mostly positive reviews helped sway my decision to buy it. Either way, we needed a solution fast.
