Nice gate for this price range
Strengths: No need to buy extra extensions. Secure once installed. Easy to install on certain opening.
Weakness: Harder to install on opening that has the quarter round shoe mold. Not so secure on an opening that is close the borderline range
We bought 2 of these gate. It is suppose to fit in opening in these ranges: 28"-32.5", 33"-37.5", 38"-42.5" and 43"-47.5". We were able to install it in one of the opening in 10 minutes. However, we have another opening that is 42.5" wide that has shoe mold on the baseboard. We couldn't install the gate securely in this opening as the tension bolts are at the end. Great Safety Gate... If the Fit is Just Right
Strengths: Sturdy construction, looks good with its height, simple to install, good price considering it comes with 2 extensions
Weakness: The width of the gate with the extensions leaves certain gaps in coverage so you can't just deploy it anywhere
Great looking gate, comes with everything you need, even a mounting kit which is mandatory if you want to use it at the top of the stairway. I wanted to install it at the bottom of the stairway to keep the baby from climbing the stairs. It didn't fit right and I had difficulty with the installation. I probably wouldn't have had difficulty if I wanted to block a doorway. My wife had trouble with...
