Good for Preemies
Strengths: Good for preemies (4lbs+). Low birth weight insert sold separately. Really easy to install. Good instructions. Head pad and side-impact protection.
Weakness: The click for the base, and buckle is inconsistent. Difficult for my wife to remove and replace.
We had few choices for seats recommended for preemies, but decided on this one. The seat is designed for this, as it has a shoulder strap that can be moved to 3 different positions, and a buckle strap that can be moved to 2 positions. The low birth weight foam insert for for (4-7 lbs) has to be ordered separately directly from Britax. The manual is unclear if this is absolutely necessary for...
