The new Toddler SafeSeat™ (Step 2) is one of the only toddler car seats on the market that reclines while it’s installed in your vehicle. The Toddler SafeSeat™ is easier to install because a reclined seat provides you with greater access to the belt path. This seat also features an innovative belt lock-off which tightly secures the vehicle seatbelt. With EZ Wash, cleaning the padding is simplified, because you will not have to remove the harness system to clean the seat pad. 5-point harness, with patent pending buckle system, features front adjustment which makes buckling & unbuckling more pleasant for both parent and child. Very happy with this seat
Strengths: Ability to recline without readjusting belt or tethers. Fabric is important as our infant seat made our duughter too hot.
Weakness: The extra padding that comes with the seat has no way of retaining and frequently slips down.
We bought this seat after looking in every store in our area for a seat that had a nice fabric and could recline. After extensive research, we found that there are very few seats that can be reclined without unbuckling and re-tightening.
